Treasure Trek News

Join the Region´s Biggest Quest for Antiques, Collectibles, and Genuine Fun!

Our website is set to change information from this year to next year on January 1. We would like to see several communities listed when the change occurs. Communities that are planning to participate are urged to sign up before December 31, 2010.

We are looking forward to Treasure Trek 2011. Changes are being made. Join us at our next committee meeting. Fliers with information about next year's dates and our website will soon go out to go out to I-80 tourist stops. Next we will send the same information to antique stores, motels and all sorts of tourist destinations. Our hope is that Treasure Trek will become well known through out the country and that people can plan vacations around it.

Please wait while pictures of antiques load. To view images you must have JavaScript Enabled

Each community needs a person or committee in charge of promoting the event. For information about getting your community involved view the Welcome Message in pdf format.

Get people in your community involved and let others see why your town is GREAT!

Treasure Trek is more than yard sales, garage sales, antiques and collectibles. It is also community events, business specials, and businesses just telling you they are there.

The text on the left side of the city page describing your community can be edited to suit your needs. Just email changes to: . Changes are usually made within 48 hours of receipt. Many times on the same day.

Reason to hold a Treasure Trek

  • Sell Antiques, Collectibles and Crafts
  • Promote local business exposure
  • Promote profit for Western Nebraska
  • Promote Community activity
  • Promote Tourism

For Treasure Trek 2010, the Alliance Committee would like to attract vendors to participate in our Flea Market, located at the Alliance YMCA on East 10th Street. We would welcome artists and artisans with interesting and unique items for sale. Some suggestions have been ethnic crafts and painting (i.e. Native American, Hispanic, and Czech). Any one is welcome. Woodworkers, metal craftsman, those who make their own clothing or quilts, the possibilities are endless. If you or someone you know might be interested in setting up a table, please contact us now. It's not too early!

All area communities are invited to list their special events which are taking place on June 11 - 12, 2010. The mission of Treasure Trek is to bring people into our communities. Our goal is for everyone to have a good time while participating.
